Great stuff! Your 1, 2, 3 are very much in line with how I've been increasingly thinking in recent years. (I'm in the UK and we've just had 14 years of horrible Right Wing government). Also: I'm an Aquarius LOL
I wonder if all signs are like that or...do Aquarians just really like to talk to each other? I feel like I get bored with people who aren't Aquarians, haha. My partner and best friend are both Pisces though, so I seem to have a really deep trust with Pisces but I don't need as many of them. Then sprinkle in a few fire signs just to balance my life 'cause I have no fire.
Aquarians are my favorite =D Yeah, I know you all have had some similar issues over there. It's been going around. Here's hoping we're in for some fresh energy. Pluto is the slowest moving planet (or whatever we're calling it now, haha), but Neptune is the second slowest and it is also changing in March. So the two planets that most define entire generations and eras are about to move. It's making me a little nervous, but since I'm also very Aquarian I'm hoping I'll just be riding the wave...
I'm a very science-minded person. I know that astrology and tarot are nonsense. What I can't explain is how they're so damn accurate.
Maybe it's confirmation bias. Maybe the stars and the cards hold no magic of their own, but are tools for accessing our intuition. Maybe intuition is based on experience and subtle bits of knowledge that our conscious minds can't quite grasp.
Or maybe intuition is a way of connecting to a mysterious power that connects all things in the universe. Maybe that power is God. I don't know, and I'm happy to let the mystery remain mysterious.
Much like ghosts in a haunted house, I've found that these mysteries can be quite comforting if you make friends with them rather than argue with them. Either way, I found your post fascinating. Here's to a new era! Whatever our beliefs, it will be what we make of it.
Yep. I feel that way too. Every little degree of the planets forms our personality and influences history? Makes no sense at all. Yet I do fit my chart perfectly and I keep gravitating toward the same few signs for friends, over and over and over again my whole life...it always seems to explain things.
I do think astrology gets to be some real nonsense real fast once people try to forecast concrete events with it, though. It works in the realm of "vibes".
So I don't know. I did stop arguing with it or questioning it. There are many things in life like that.
I will say one time I needed a character in a book to pull Tarot cards so I thought of several I wanted her to pull for story purposes, but then I decided, I'm just going to give her a real reading instead. I pulled like, all but one of the cards I had in mind!!
That's so wild! I've seen exactly this kind of thing too many times to write it off as coincidence. I've never studied astrology, but I used to read tarot a lot when I was in my early 20's. I've been thinking about taking it up again as my crone-dom approaches.
I've been learning astrology like crazy the last few months (so i'm still very much a beginner) but i'm also an Aquarius sun (and venus - and libra rising so venus is my chart ruler) and 4 planets (3 in a stellium) in Capricorn. Saturn-Uranus-Neptune in a stellium and then Mercury off on the other side of Capricorn degree wise lol.
I was hoping to get my book (writing my first novel that I plan to self publish) finished last year - didn't happen - but i'm still working on it and worked on so much else last year - like self-growth, breaking bad habits etc, and learning about myself thanks to astrology - that I think I can accomplish that and more this year! At least i'm going to give it my all!
I came here from your Youtube :)
Great post!
It's also my second nodal return (I turn 36 next month) as the North Node is going into Pisces and the South into Virgo which is what mine natally are! I think this year is going to be a lot.

I'm also an Aquarius! And I frequently find myself attracted to other Aquarians before I even know their sign.

I have found that kind of acceptance (of the unknown) to be quite freeing.
