Call for first pages!

I will soon get to work on the next "first page critique" video!

First, let me just take a moment to be really EXTRA grateful to all of you who support this channel. The past week was difficult. My aunt passed away on Monday night, and my thoughts have really been with my family even though I'm here in North Carolina and my mom was with my aunt in Maine. I also just had the WORST PMS. But I'm seeing a new doctor tomorrow and I am hopeful about her.

I've been feeling like I've been rather behind the ball with Youtube, writing, and life, and it's just not a great feeling, but I'm hoping to shift that energy!

I will soon be working on the next first page critique video, and all paid Patreons (any tier) get first dibs on appearing in the video. If I get more than ten pages from paid Patreon and Substack, I will draw them randomly. In the future I plan to also keep track so different people get selected, but I forgot to do that last month.

Anyway, if you want to be included, submit your first page (500 words) to me at fabulousfrock@mac.com by the end of the day Friday August 9th (roughly midnight Eastern -4:00 GMT but basically I'm gonna take stock on Saturday morning). I don't share names on the video. If there is anything you want me to know such as genre, feel free to include that!
